Our Story
From the Himalayas
Our sea buckthorn berries grow high in the Himalayas of Nepal, where the shrubs thrive in cold, rugged terrain at high altitude. After harvest, they're sun-dried naturally to preserve their bright color and tart, citrusy flavor.
Nala began with my grandmother, Aama, a beloved beautician in Nepal for over 25 years. She believed that good care starts with whole, honest ingredients, and that belief is behind everything we share, starting with these berries.
Why sea buckthorn?
Often called a "superberry," sea buckthorn is known for containing vitamin C, vitamin E, carotenoids, and flavonoids. The berries are tart, bright, and versatile. Try them steeped as a tea, stirred into oatmeal or yogurt, or simply enjoyed on their own.
